What is cold room monitoring?
Cold room monitoring means using sensors to monitor temperature, humidity and other parameters in an area where stable climate conditions are required, such as cold rooms, containers or refrigerated storage areas.

Long awaited innovation
We asked Jef why Reporter stands out within the world of monitoring systems and is not just another dime-a-dozen alarm system.
"I used to work with WiFi or LAN-based systems, which were precisely the weak link in such systems. If your WiFi or LAN goes down, the monitoring system falls flat on its face too.
In addition, such systems operated purely on electricity. In case of a power failure, your cold room stops working, and the system that is supposed to alert you follows suit."
It is because of this that Reporter stands head and shoulders above previously mentioned systems. The internal battery keeps Reporter up and running, even during power failures. Moreover, notifications and data are sent over the GSM network (2G + 4G), which is stable and reliable.
Reporter works with a cloud platform that receives all measurement data: the Crodeon Dashboard. The Dashboard is a web application that you can log into 24/7 with your device of choice, as long as it has an internet browser. Custom software installation is entirely unnecessary. Sensor readings are logged live online, giving you a view of the current situation. Historical logs can be downloaded to see how temperatures have changed over the past months or years.

Alarm notifications
Thanks to Reporter's built-in alarm function, alarm limits can be configured per sensor. When something goes wrong, you will receive a text message, e-mail or voice call. Setting alarms and measurement intervals happens on the Crodeon Dashboard.
